Here’s a question for our men: Are you the spiritual leader or the spiritual provider in your home? Historically, women are the ones who provide the family with spiritual nourishment. Whether or not you think of yourself as the spiritual leader within your home, you are – whether good, bad, or ugly. You lead by example. If you are a husband/dad who attends church regularly, one who reads his Bible and prays with and for his family, a faithful tither, and one who encourages Godly wisdom by walking the walk and talking the talk, then you are a spiritual provider. If none of these things are a routine part of your lifestyle, you are still the spiritual leader. Your witness is shaping the spiritual depth, or lack thereof, of your family.

Husband, don’t leave it to your wife to provide the spiritual nourishment within your home. She desires more than financial provision; she needs you to aid in securing your family’s inheritance in Heaven. The restoration of our family units depends upon a mom and dad partnering up to provide guidance to our children. You ARE the spiritual leader within your home, but great is your reward when you assume the role of spiritual provider.
